Below the Menu bar is the toolbar, which contains speed buttons or icons to open files for data entry segments of the program, as well as named links.

Maneuvering in DentiMax is very similar to Microsoft Internet Explorer or Microsoft Money.

The Back button takes you to the immediately preceding screen, without closing the current screen.

The Forward button is activated only if you've moved back through open screens or clicked the Back button at least once. It moves you to the screen that was opened immediately after the screen which is now displayed.

Notice the arrows following the Back and Forward buttons. Clicking either one displays a drop-down list that contains all the screens opened before and after the screen you're looking at, respectively. You can also right-click the Back or Forward button to display this list.

This is a quick way to return to screens you've already seen but didn't bookmark. Click the down arrow or right-click and select the screen you need. Note that the Scheduler is identified by the date. Suppose you have today's schedule open (Tuesday October 11, 2005). You open the Ledger, then the Patient List, and then click Scheduler a second time and change the date to next Wednesday's date (Wednesday October 26, 2005), both are open in the program.

You can move between the two by choosing the one you want by the date.

If you close a screen, it is no longer available in the lists shown by clicking these arrows.

The Home button takes you immediately to your Home screen, without closing any other open screens.
